Student’s in a Pinch

Short Term Rentals Boston provides quality furnished apartment rentals throughout the City of Boston.  Our goal is to work with our clients to secure quality, all-inclusive furnished housing near their schools, jobs, hospitals, friends, and families. Throughout the City of Boston, students in particular are having a difficult time finding suitable housing.   Last semester, we had the pleasure of working with three Northeastern students who were looking for a semester long lease. According to the students we’ve served, the biggest and most common roadblock for student housing is that most landlords require a 12 month lease commitment from tenants.  In this case, we were happy to help this group, by accommodating them in one of our 3 bedroom units located in a lovely neighborhood in the South End. One student wrote a note about her experience:

“As a group of students who needed to find short term housing, this apartment fit our needs perfectly. We did not want to split up or be forced to sign a year long lease and have to worry about subletting, which is when we stumbled upon Short Term Rentals Boston. The apartment is located within a 10 minute walk to campus, and less than a five minute walk to the nearest T-stop. Parking is free and accessible for non-resident cars on the surrounding streets and many great eateries are just down the street, making this a great location for Northeastern students to live. We were pleased with the amenities that came with the apartment such as a fully-loaded kitchen with all necessary appliances and an outdoor patio area with a working grill. If we ever had a problem, management made sure to send someone to fix it at whatever time fit our hectic schedules. Additionally, having the apartment already fully furnished made move in and move out very easy, and made our stay very comfortable. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay with Short Term Rentals Boston as it was cozy, pleasant and very convenient.”

As a Golf Professional on Nantucket Island, I have 5 months each winter where I am forced to leave the island due to weather conditions and a house with no insulation or proper heat. I come to Boston to be near the airport and to be centrally located in New England for work purposes and work related traveling convenience.I have rented each of the last 5 seasons from Short Term Rentals Boston (STRB). It is not feasible for me to rent an unfurnished apartment and have to pack it all up and store it for 7 months. The ease and convenience of renting a furnished apartment is what allows me to be in Boston. STRB has made my living situation so much easier and convenient. I hope to someday be able to afford my own apartment in Boston but at this time, I can’t. STRB allows me to live in Boston.

Back Bay Fire

We, at STRB, are deeply saddened by the events that unfolded at the 9 alarm fire on Beacon Street.

Sadly, the tragic loss of two Boston firemen who perished while fighting the fire across is just one of the 74,200 emergency calls to which the BFD will respond this year. We are immeasurably grateful to those duty-bound men who won’t be returning to their streets so that we can live safely on ours. It is an immense sacrifice that is risked for us all every day. We are all lucky for all of those who keep all of our streets safe.

The Boston Fire Fighters Burn Foundation is great way to get involved and help families in need.
