This 2nd floor studio suite features a full sized, open kitchen and living room that looks out onto a great view of the city and neighborhood. This brand new unit has polished hardwood floors throughout the unit, central air, marble countertops and new stainless steel appliances. The bed area features a queen mattress set, nightstand, reading lamp and alarm clock. The bathroom has a beautiful tile enclosed tub/shower combo. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils, along with oven, range and refrigerator and there is a dining table that seats four. The living room has a flat screen TV with local channels and the sofa pulls out to a queen bed which makes this the perfect unit for two to four people.

Most of our units are designed to be interchangeable and each unit has at least one "like-kind" unit within the same building that is similar in size and identical in amenities as well as sleeping capacity. In most cases the unit you have reserved is the unit you will be staying in, however, we reserve the right to put you in a like-kind unit for the term of your rental. If you are given a like-kind unit it is guaranteed to be in the same building and no more than one floor above the unit you have reserved (this only applies to buildings without elevators). If your unit is going to be changed to a like-kind unit you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.

All rental units are equipped with wireless internet, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, coffee makers, toaster, microwave, linens and towels, as well as a guest book with instructions and recommendations.

All building and unit doors are on secure, code-activated locks so coordinating key pick-up and drop-off is not necessary. This unit is accessed using stairs (there is no elevator) and is a 2nd floor walk-up. The building has a common laundry room that has two sets of washer/dryers which are free of charge to our guests and are available between the hours of 4pm and 11am.

There is a parking a half block north on Northampton Street that takes cars for $1 per hour for long term stays. Parking is available at our sister property a few blocks away on East Springfield Street that may be reserved for an additional charge, but is subject to availability (Click Here to reserve a spot).

Built in 1874 and beautifully restored to its former glory in collaboration with the National Parks Service and the South End Landmarks Association, this classic Boston property marries original 20th century charm and detail with modern luxuries in the South End neighborhood, one of Boston’s trendiest because of its vibrant restaurants and night life. The unit has great access to public transit, and is conveniently located within a 20 minute walk to most of Boston’s best tourist locations including Fenway Park, the Charles River, the Freedom Trail and the Boston Common.

Clean, convenient, but noisy.

Apartment was clean with a well appointed modern kitchen. As presented in photos. No problems with check in etc. Laundry facilities were great, two washers and dryers available no charge in building. Only complaint was that the mattress on the bed was broken and soft. Very uncomfortable, especially for a couple. The neighborhood is convenient and public transit is close by, but expect street noise as Tremont is a major street and there are bars/restaurants in the same block.

I was in Boston to teach as a member of faculty at Harvard Medical School. I've been before and rather than a hotel, thought I'd give this short term apartment rental a go. 784 Tremont Street is about 25 mins walk from the Longwood Medical Area and very near central Boston, so an excellent location for me for work and for getting to see the city. The only slight let down: No iron/ironing board in my room. It did take me a few goes to get through to the apartment rental company on the telephone (they didn't reply to my emails). However, to be fair, as soon as I'd explained the problem, someone did come over later that afternoon and dropped off a new iron and ironing board. I'd rent again next time I come to Boston!

I stayed on Tremont street in unit 2 while in Boston for a conference. The unit was just two blocks from public transit, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, the grocery store is withing walking distance. the building is secure, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

We liked the location of Tremont #2 - within walking distance of many restaurants and public transportation stations. It is small - we would have been very cramped with 4 people but it was ok for 2. The one complaint we had is that it didn't seem very clean when we arrived. There was dirt in the sheets, the bathroom rug needed to be replaced (smelled pretty musty), and there were still things in the dresser drawers. Mostly minor things, though. Overall we enjoyed it.

I stayed in 784 tremont unit 2 for a week. the apartment was just perfect. the place was pretty bright and the design was modern and elegant. everything in the apartment looked like new. everything was perfectly designed and intended to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. the kitchen was fully equipped, all the appliances were modern and were in perfect condition. the bathroom was perfect, had a comfortable tub and was endowed with plenty of towels. the bed was very comfortable, large and had several sets of sheets. Tv had many channels and the internet was very fast. the location of the apartment is perfect. 3 minutes walk away is the Massachusetts avenue subway station, which is connected with several lines to a couple of stations, 4 minutes is the Boston Symphony and a another subway station. 15 minutes walking is nwebury street and prudential center. there is an excellent bar and restaurant 2 blocks called Darrils Corner bar and kitchen and many good places for lunch from pizza to more elaborate dishes. . in the neighborhood are several shops to buy as (brothers market and Hollywood liquors), there is an excellent bar and restaurant 2 blocks called Darrils Corner bar and kitchen and many good places for lunch from pizza to more elaborate dishes. Will, the landlord, is a great person, always answered all my questions and requests. definitely recommend it.

We stayed at 784 Tremont unit 1, for three nights and unit 4 for one night. Both were very nice. Unit 1 was our favorite, little larger than unit 4. We were within walking distance of so many things and close to the subway! Only down side is lots of stairs with luggage but worth it for the nice room. When we return to Boston, we will stay there again!

We stayed here 6 nights. We were able to walk everywhere from this South End property: Fenway park, Newberry Street and Prudential Center shopping, lots of restaurants in the South End and Boylston Street. Short walk to Mass ave transit station. The property was all newly renovated, very nice furnishings, very comfortable, completely stocked kitchen, all linens included-you don't have to bring anything. Very easy to communicate with owner. We were on 3rd floor, no elevator. Busy intersection, noisy with windows open.

We stayed in Unit 5 at 784 Tremont Street for 3 nights. The booking process was very smooth and the owner, Will, had been very good at communicating with us by email prior to our arrival, and he had given us a mobile number on which to contact him when we were in Boston. My sister, who made the reservation, had asked in an email to Will that the sofa bed be made up for our arrival. Will had replied indicating this was no problem and said he would ask the cleaners to make the bed up. The sofa bed was not made up when we got there, but we weren't too bothered as we didn't really mind doing it ourselves, plus a spare set of sheets had been supplied, which was the main thing. However, on unfolding the sofa bed, we discovered it had an air mattress that required inflating, and we could not locate the pump to do this. We sent a text and email to Will that evening. It was 2pm the next day before he got back to us, by email. Just before his email arrived, I had tried to call the mobile number he gave us but had to leave a message. By this time we had also discovered that the sheets that were supplied for the sofa bed were very worn and looked like they had not been laundered, as one had a large pen mark and some rather suspect looking dark stains on it. When Will replied regarding the sofa bed, he said that the he had asked the cleaners to make up the bed but that they had forgotten, "because no-one had ever asked for that before". He said that this was not a "hotel service" so it was not possible to send someone up to sort it out. He said he could come up and inflate the mattress if we wanted but that it was very easy. This it may have been, had we known where the pump was! I then texted him asking where the pump was, and I also told him about the dirty sheets and asked for clean ones. He replied saying the pump should be beside the sofa as that is where the cleaners leave it, and that someone would bring up clean sheets and leave them outside the apartment by 3pm. There was no apology for the dirty linen. The pump for the air mattress was in fact fairly concealed Behind the sofa. Rather than a set of sheets, one sheet only was left outside the apartment. Another small matter was that a bulb was burst in a lamp in the bedroom, which we reported too but this was not fixed during our stay- Will said something in a text about how he would try to get someone to get a bulb, but it never appeared. My main issue here is with the slow response and then poor attitude of the owner to assisting us to rectify the issues we had with the apartment after our arrival in Boston. I think his responses to our queries after our arrival at the accommodation were abrupt and amounted to poor customer service. I would love to recommend the accommodation as it is generally of good quality and well located, but one wonders how or if the owner would respond if there was a more serious problem with the accommodation. Also, the impression I got was that the owner felt that his job was finished prior to us arriving, and once we arrived, he was no longer responsible for any issues during our stay.
